I’ve spent my whole life working on minimizing all effort needed to strike a golf ball. In effect I have produced the most direct strike in golf. The swing with the fewest moving parts.

I learned this by emulating the world’s greatest ball striker the late Murray “Moe” Norman. (1929-2004) I have taught this swing during the last 7 years and demonstrated it for the last 28 years performing around the globe over 1500 long drive and extraordinary ball striking shows.

In all I have traveled on over 30 different airlines to the four corners of the world and played on almost all organized world tours and typically the tournament committee would hire me as their golf entertainer to entertain the pro-am participants on Wednesdays and or the gallery at the conclusion of play on Saturdays.

During the period from 1980 when I qualified at the Canadian Tour School until I entered my last long drive championship in 2004 I have won 104 professional long drive titles, including 9 national titles out of 129 championships entered.

I’ve always said hitting it long leads to a lot of birdie and eagle opportunities. Typically rendering a par 72 course to a par 68 by making the par 5 holes reachable in two strokes and when all the stars align I’ve had moments of brilliance for example 1985 Australia Tour playing the New Zealand Open I birdied 8 holes on a 9-hole stretch.
