Parker McLachlin
Parker McLachlin was born in Honolulu, Hawaii and still resides on island. At 29 years old, Parker has been playing as PGA Tour player since 2003. McLachlin grew up playing golf, from caddying for PGA Tour Player Scott Simpson at the Sony Open at age 13, to dominating in High School as a three-time State Golf and Volleyball Champion, even playing with Michael Jordan as a senior, and then went onto UCLA and was a two-time All-Pac 10 Performer.
Parker turned pro one year after graduating UCLA and has shown some moments of brilliance with wins on four different tours leading to the PGA Tour and most recently finished with a tie for 5th place at the AT&T Classic. Outside of golf McLachlin enjoys spending time with his wife Kristy cooking, collecting wine and traveling.
“Growing up in Hawaii, I was fortunate to have nearly every sport under the sun available to me. I loved the teamwork that volleyball and basketball had to offer. I was drawn to the ocean through surfing and body surfing. But it was golf that really got me inspired. The challenge of the game mixed with the communion with nature made it a perfect stimulant for me. I still get fired up every time I step to the first tee or coming down the stretch with a chance to win. I am ultra-competitive in everything from ping-pong to H-O-R-S-E and this competitiveness drives me to want to be one of the best on the PGA Tour.” – Parker.
