CC Sabathia

CC Sabathia is currently a starting pitcher for the New York Yankees. Sabathia played the first seven plus seasons of his career with the Cleveland Indians (2001-2008), where he won the 2007 AL Cy Young Award.

He played the second half of the 2008 MLB season with the Milwaukee Brewers, leading them to the NL Wild Card, their first playoff appearance in 26 years. In December of 2008, Sabathia signed a seven-year deal with the New York Yankees. His contract with the Yankees is the most lucrative contract for a pitcher in the history of baseball.  At 6’7” and 290 pounds, Sabathia is one of the largest pitchers in MLB.
